Riddle: Enter through one but exit through three. Once you succeed I am on thee. What am I?
A t-shirt or jumper.
Riddle: I go through a door but never go in and never come out. What am I?
A keyhole.
Riddle: One of me can completely stop you. But multiple of me can only slow you down… What am I?
Period. As in the riddle, multiple periods make an ellipsis.
Riddle: I start at the end, and finish at the beginning, and wherever I go, I am cold. What am I?
Winter. It starts at the end of one year and ends at the beginning of the next.

Riddle: Born in the past but only live in the present. Sometimes false, always personal. What am I?

Riddle: I can run but not walk. Thought is not far behind me. What am I?
Nose.
Riddle: People knock on me to say hello but lock me up after their visitors go. What am I?
A door.
Riddle: I go up and down at the very same time, and never stop. What am I?
Stairs.
Riddle: Open me and you can’t see me without a mirror. Close me and you can’t see me at all. What am I?
Your eyes.
Riddle: I can be sun, I can be sand, and I can be bird. What am I?
A clock (sundial, hourglass and cuckoo clock).
Riddle: When you take me out of a window you leave a grieving wife. When you stick me in a door you will save somebody’s life. What am I?
The letter ‘n’. Take it from the word ‘window’ and you are left with ‘widow’. Add it to the word ‘door’ and you get ‘donor’.
Riddle: I might come through your window and I’m often at the bar. Sometimes I’m used to send your kids to die in lands afar. What am I?

Riddle: I am something you sit on but can’t take with you. What am I?

Riddle: I’m much like my four friends but I stand to the side. When they pose for a fight, I like to duck outside. What am I?

Riddle: I am able to turn cattle to crows and sticks to cranes. What am I?
The letter ‘r’. Add an ‘r’ to the word cows and it becomes crows. Add an ‘r’ to the word canes and it becomes cranes.
Riddle: I’m ready to walk when I’m all tied up, but I really should stop when I’m untied. What am I?
A shoe.
Riddle: I don’t have eyes but once I did see. Once I had thoughts but now I’m white and empty. What am I?
A skull.

Needles (add an s and it becomes needless).
